“I am humbled and excited to have been recognized by the music community as the 2019 Radio Music Award Winner for Best Country Artist and Best Country Song,” said Ryan Daniel. “It’s an honor to be amongst a group of such great talent. I want to congratulate all of the winners and nominees and encourage all artists to continue to share their stories through their art to help empower our community.”
In Ryan Daniel’s hit song, “Too Country For You,” which is featured on his “Back for More” album co-produced by Barry Best and Rich Herring, he relates to southern gentlemen who are unnoticed by women who are more interested in modern-day men who are lacking southern charm. Daniel’s response to this is clear in the chorus with, “That ain’t the way my momma raised me. I’m a little too country for you.”
Powered by Indie Music Channel, each year the Radio Music Awards recognizes independent singers and bands from around the world who have achieved the accomplishment of receiving terrestrial, satellite and/or internet radio airplay for their music, in spite of not being signed to a major record label.
“Ryan is an incredible singer/songwriter. “Too Country For You” is an amazing song and Ryan is one of those gifted indie artists who just continues to create hit after hit,” said Christopher Ewing, founder of Indie Music Channel and the Radio Music Awards. “The future of country music is in great hands with talented new artists like him leading the way!”
